Brief Curriculum Vitae

Prof. Chiang has experience with neural monitoring starting in 2005. Prof. Chiang published numerous IONM papers including standardized IONM procedures, anatomical variations of RLN, mechanism of RLN injury, IONM set-up, correct use of neuromuscular blocking agents, safety of energy-based devices, experimental animal model…etc. Prof. Chiang designed stimulating instruments for real-time nerve monitoring and developed novel IONM recording method in the operation, and well established international IONM training courses.
